Phone QR code
Phone Number QR Code Generator – Tap to Call on Scan. No watermark added by QuickConvertOnline. Free, no account needed.
About Phone QR code
The phone QR code generator turns a phone number into a tel: link that phones open in the dialer. Scanning shows the number ready to call, so people do not have to read and type it from a sign, flyer, vehicle or product label.
Formatting in the number, such as spaces, dashes, dots and brackets, is removed before encoding, so only digits and a leading plus sign go into the code. The call is never placed automatically; the person scanning still taps the call button.

Frequently asked questions
Does scanning the code call the number right away?
No. The phone opens its dialer or shows a prompt with the number filled in, and the person has to confirm the call. This prevents accidental calls and lets them check the number first.
How should I format the number?
Use international format with a plus sign and country code, such as +1 555 010 0000. Spaces and dashes are fine for readability; they are stripped before encoding. Letters in vanity numbers like 1-800-FLOWERS are removed too, so enter the digits instead.
Can I include an extension?
Not reliably. Only digits and the plus sign are kept, so pause or wait characters used for extensions are removed. Print the extension as text next to the code instead.
Why does the Output show tel: before my number?
tel: is the standard prefix that tells the phone the content is a number to call rather than plain text. Without it, scanners would only display the digits. You can copy the full value from Output if you need the link elsewhere.
