About Social media image resizer

The social media image resizer fits your pictures to common platform sizes in one step. Choose a preset such as Square 1080 × 1080, Portrait 1080 × 1350, Story 1080 × 1920, Video thumbnail 1280 × 720, Banner 1500 × 500 or Open Graph 1200 × 630, or enter your own dimensions.

Each image can be fitted with padding so nothing is cut off, or cropped to fill the frame. It suits social media managers, creators and small businesses preparing a batch of posts, with up to 20 images processed together. Everything runs locally, so drafts stay private until you publish them.

Frequently asked questions

Which preset should I use for a feed image?

Square at 1080 × 1080 and Portrait at 1080 × 1350 are convenient working presets. The correct choice depends on the destination’s current placement rules and preview crop. Verify those rules before an important publication.

What does the Story preset produce?

It produces a 1080 × 1920 image, a 9:16 ratio. This is a useful vertical working shape, not a guarantee of every platform’s upload requirements. Check the destination preview and keep important content clear of interface overlays.

What is the Open Graph size used for?

1200 × 630 is the common size for link preview images shown when a page is shared on social networks and messaging apps. Websites reference it with an og:image tag in their HTML.

Why does my resized image have bars around it?

The Contain fit keeps the whole picture visible and fills the leftover space with the background color. To fill the frame completely, switch Fit to Cover, which crops the edges instead.
