About Reorder PDF pages
Reorder PDF pages shows every page of your document as a thumbnail so you can put the pages in the right sequence. Drag a page to a new spot, or use the up and down arrows under each thumbnail to move it one position at a time, then save the document in its new order.
It helps when pages came out of the scanner shuffled, when an appendix belongs before the conclusion or when a signature page needs to move to the end. Pages are moved, not converted, so their quality is untouched, and the file never leaves your browser.
How to use Reorder PDF pages
- Drop a PDF onto the page or select Choose PDF.
- Drag the thumbnails into the order you want, or use the up and down arrows under each page.
- In long documents, select Show more pages to load further thumbnails.
- Select Apply, check the result preview and select Download.

Tips
- To drop pages as well, run Delete PDF pages first. To save a subset in a new order, type it in Extract PDF pages, for example 5, 1-4.
Frequently asked questions
How do I rearrange pages in a PDF without Acrobat?
Open the PDF here, drag the thumbnails into the order you want and select Apply. The reordered file is built by your browser, so you do not need an Acrobat license, a desktop app or an account.
Can I reorder PDF pages on a phone?
Yes. Dragging works best with a mouse, so every thumbnail also has up and down arrows that move the page one position at a time. They are easier to use on touch screens and with a keyboard.
Does reordering change the page numbers printed on the pages?
No. Numbers that are part of the page content move with their page. If the document needs fresh numbering after rearranging, run the result through Add page numbers.
Can I reorder pages across several PDFs?
This tool works on one PDF at a time. To mix pages from several files, combine them with Merge PDF first, then open the merged file here and arrange its pages in any order.
