About Add images to PDF
Add images to PDF places a picture on top of existing pages. Choose a PNG, JPG, WebP, SVG or other image your browser can open, then click or drag on the page preview to put it where you want and scale it to the right size.
Use it to put a company logo on a quote, add a photo to an application, insert a scanned stamp or seal, or drop a diagram into a report. Transparent backgrounds stay transparent, and the same image can repeat across a range of pages. The PDF and image never leave your device.
How to use Add images to PDF
- Drop a PDF onto the page or select Choose PDF.
- Select Choose image and pick the picture to insert.
- Select the target page thumbnail, then click or drag on the preview to position the image.
- Adjust Scale, Opacity and Rotation, and edit the Pages field to repeat the image on other pages.
- Select Apply and download the result.

Tips
- Images are embedded losslessly as PNG at their full pixel size, so resize large photos before adding them to keep the PDF small.

Frequently asked questions
Can I add a logo to every page of a PDF?
Yes. Choose the logo, position it on the preview, then clear the Pages field so it applies to all pages. The logo is placed at the same relative position and size on each page.
Will a transparent PNG keep its transparency?
Yes. Transparent areas of PNG and SVG images stay transparent, so the page content shows through around a logo or stamp. You can also lower the opacity to make the whole image semi-transparent.
Why did my PDF get bigger after adding a photo?
The image is embedded as a lossless PNG at its full pixel size, so a multi-megapixel photo can add several megabytes. Resize the photo before adding it, or reduce the finished file with Compress PDF.
Can I resize or rotate the image?
Yes, before you select Apply. Scale sets the image width as a percentage of the page width, and the height follows automatically to keep proportions. Rotation turns the image by any angle from -180° to 180°.
Can I add an image of my signature?
You can, but Sign PDF is designed for that job. It lets you draw a signature or choose a signature image, with the same placement controls, and reminds you that the result is a visual signature.
