About Remove duplicate lines
The duplicate line remover keeps the first instance of each exact line and removes subsequent identical lines. It does not sort the list, so the order of the remaining entries follows your original input.
It is useful for cleaning repeated identifiers, URL lists and exported labels. Equality is exact: capitalization and spaces matter. If your intended duplicates vary in case or spacing, normalize those differences separately before removing duplicates.

Frequently asked questions
Are differently capitalized lines duplicates?
No. “Paris” and “paris” remain separate. Use a case conversion first if your list should be case-insensitive.
Does it remove extra spaces first?
No. Lines with different spacing are distinct. Whitespace cleanup is a separate operation and can be used before deduplication if appropriate.
Does it sort my list?
No. The first occurrence of every distinct line stays in its original position.
Is my text uploaded or saved?
