Image flipper
Flip Image Online – Mirror Pictures Horizontally or Vertically. No watermark added by QuickConvertOnline. Free, no account needed.
About Image flipper
The image flipper mirrors pictures along either axis. Flip horizontal swaps left and right, the classic mirror effect, while Flip vertical turns the image upside down as if reflected in water. You can combine both, and rotation buttons are available in the same panel.
Use it to correct front-camera selfies where text appears backwards, to change which way a subject faces in a layout, or to create a mirror effect. Up to 20 images can be flipped together. Processing happens in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a horizontal and a vertical flip?
A horizontal flip mirrors the image left to right, like looking in a mirror. A vertical flip mirrors it top to bottom, turning it upside down while also reversing it. Neither changes the image size.
How do I fix a mirrored selfie?
Front cameras often save a mirrored picture, which makes text look backwards. Open the photo and click Flip horizontal once; the text will read correctly and the image will match what others saw.
Is flipping the same as rotating?
No. Rotating turns the image around its center, while flipping creates a mirror image. Only the combination of a horizontal and a vertical flip equals a rotation, specifically 180 degrees.
Does flipping reduce quality?
PNG images are saved losslessly. JPG and WebP images are re-encoded at 82% quality, which can soften fine detail very slightly. The mirroring itself moves pixels without changing them.
